Registered Nurse

RN - St. Louis, Missouri

Full-time, Part- time, PRN Shifts available 

Work 36-40 hours a week 

8 or 12 hour shift available

The Registered Nurse is responsible for:


The delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies, and procedures. In addition, the RN works closely with and acts as a clinical expert for other professional and ancillary nursing personnel.

  • Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
  • Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
  • Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
  • Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
  • Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
  • Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
  • Administering non-intravenous medications.
  • Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
  • Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
  • observe and record patient behavior
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
  • Collect patient health history
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans
  • Administer medication, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options
  • Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate
  • Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
  • Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants and nurse aides
  • Research ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes


Qualifications:

Current state license as a Registered Nurse
